Ok all those who didn't join us. You totally missed out on a great time ...  Hats off to Michelle for coordinating a splendid time .. And many thanks to Irene, Rob, Peggy, John and Michelles mom for there gracious invite onto there property.

Many arrived as early as Wed to fully enjoy the whole splendor of the land.  Beautiful untamed land with a wonderful fresh water river which provided much character.  While several made the trek from as far off as Boston,  others came from the bad ass boogie down.  A total of about 16 tents and about 35-40 people were at our campsite.

The river which was the central artery for all, provided fresh water for toiletries.  Not to mention one hell of a wake up call to bath in after pounding back a few brews.  But the water felt great, many of the campers all part took,  at different times, of a cleansing bath in the river.  Now for those few skeptical ones,  the journey to the local watering hole was a bonus.  There you would find a nice small beach with row boats and ample sand.  Not to mention a changin facility that provided warm water for showering.

When nite time decended upon the campsite, you could not escape the smell of fresh wood burning in the many campsite rings. We would all  gather to tell jokes and play some silly camp games which proved to be hilarious.  Others played cards and Dominoes.

During the day, you would find many visiting each others campsites. Swapping stories, food and beer.  At times many in the group would go out 4 wheeling on ATV's.  They looked like a small band of "hells angels" there ... buzzing through the woods.

When asked if I would return there ...  Sure bet !
